Here’s an update on how my 24 in 24 list is going:

Category: Self Care

  1. Write 24 (2-4 minutes minimum) a day. Pretty much anything counts, but my  main focus is going to be on working on a book of my poems. I have struggled with this quite a bit, especially the last couple of months. But I am back on track now. Everyday is the start of a new year!
  2. Post on blog every day. Again, struggled with this one, especially the last couple of months. But I am challenging myself to post everyday this week to get myself kick started and back in the habit.
  3. Move my body each day. This helps me so much with feeling better both physically and mentally.…
  4. Daily devotional, prayer journal, one sentence journal. I am starting Year 4 of my 5 Year One-sentence journal. It’s been interesting to look back to the previous years to see what I wrote. I have missed some days of writing in the journals.
  5. Get a massage at least once this year.
  6. Read everyday. Anything counts, audiobooks, real books, fiction, non-fiction. I have been reading most days.
  7. Eat two servings fruits and two servings of vegetables each day. Not really, but still eating more vegetables and fruits than I did in the past.
  8. Make a daily checklist for self-care. Made my printable checklist yesterday and am already using it today. Um…I forgot a made a list lol. Will print it out today to use this week.
  9. Check and record morning blood sugar in FitBit app. I have checked my blood sugar everyday. This weekend, I got a Continuous Glucose Monitor so it will be constantly monitored.
