To try and get out of my reading rut, I’ve been listening to and reading some Murder, She Wrote novels. The most recent one I finished (Killing in a Koi Pond), Serenity had read first and told me there was a good quote on grief towards the end. She was right.
“Grief ebbs and flows. One minute you feel as though it’s manageable and the next minute, you are overwhelmed, immobilized. With the passage of time, the grief becomes more manageable. But in the first few weeks and months, it can become unwieldy at the oddest of moments. It is so difficult to predict”.
I mean wow! Such a true statement about grief from such a random source.
