The grandkids are going to be staying with me this week, so I am scheduling some posts in case I get too busy to have much time to write.

These are the lyrics to Tom’s song Tomorrow. Our son read it at his funeral.

It’s just so true and beautiful.

Tom wrote it after he was diagnosed with his incurable cancer. I can truly say that he truly focused on living these words out in his life.

Tomorrow

Time is slippin by, it moves so fast,

You have to try to make it last.

Take the time to do what matters most.

Have no regrets when your time has passed.

Don’t put off till tomorrow

What you need to do today,

Cause you may not have tomorrow.

It’s time to say the things you’ll wish you had,

Be sure to tell the ones you love,

You  never know if there’s another chance.

Waiting somewhere down the road.

Live each day as if it might be your last.

Catch the moments if you can.

But time is hard to catch,

It’s like a ghost.

One moment here and then it’s gone
