A few days ago, I shared my Word of the Year for my personal life (Open). This year, I decided to also choose a Word of the Year for my work life. That word is Joy. I want to remember to always focus on the Joy of what I get to do as I work with early childhood educators.
My goal is to remind them how important they are in the lives of the children and families that they care for each day. I want to help them become successful businesses, regardless of what type of program they manage.
As I am constantly telling the providers that I work with, I am there to help make their jobs easier, not harder. It is not my intention to make things harder for them, I want to help make things better for them.
