Cried myself to sleep
I cried myself,
To sleep last night.
It had been a while,
Since I’d done that.
The waves of pain,
Come less frequently now.
But they still come.
I woke up with
Puffy eyes this morning.
Remnants of a night
Spent thinking of you.
My heart hurts.
But it still beats.
And I move forward.
