Day 2 of 7: 30th anniversary

Today, I want to share one of my “Dear Tom” notes. I started writing these notes shortly after Tom died as a way of talking to him when I had something I wanted to tell him.

Dear Tom,

I want to see myself as you saw me. You saw me as strong, smart, capable, and loving. I want to be that person and I want to make you proud of me. I promised you I would continue to take care of myself and I intend to keep that promise.

I miss you every single moment of every single day.
