My favorite wildflowers have always been Indian Blankets. I’ve loved them since I was a child. I still remember the Girl Scout meeting where we learned about some of the different wildflowers.
When I visited the McCann Garden in Ponca City on Monday, I found this plaque about the story behind the names of the Indian Blanket flower.
