Today would have been my grandparent’s 80th wedding anniversary. They are celebrating in heaven together this year.
My grandmother was a great example and inspiration for me in the way she took care of my grandfather while he was sick. When I was taking care of Tom while he was sick, it would help me to remember how Grandmama took care of Papa for all those years.
This picture is from their 70th anniversary party ten years ago. Everyone in that picture is gone now except for me. I miss them all so much.

Good, happy memories can be painful also but can’t let them go. Just hope with time the good will be more than the pain.
