One of the things that I wanted from my grandmother’s house was this plaque. I had got it for her when I was a little girl. I remember wanting to buy something that said “Grandmama” because that’s what we called her, but of course there wasn’t anything with that on it. My mom convinced me that this would be fine because she was after all a grandmother.
This plaque hung in her kitchen for years and now it’s hanging in my bedroom. Because now I am a grandmother. I only hope I can be half as good as one as she was.
Sure do miss her.
