Well…here’s week 4’s report:
Check blood sugar: 7/7
Fruit/vegetables: 0/7. But I want to say that I am being much more mindful of making sure I am eating fruits and vegetables and I think maybe I set my first goal a little high. Maybe I should have started with one of each.
Movement: 1/7-this has been a real struggle lately. I have just been exhausted and struggling to get out of bed. I made the decision that right now getting rest may be more important for my body than getting up at 4:30 and exercising. Maybe that’s an excuse or a copout, I am not sure.
I tend to have an “all or nothing” mindset. I’ve always said “if I don’t exercise first thing in the morning, it doesn’t happen”. What if instead I told myself “Moving my body can happen anytime of the day. I am going to spend 10 minutes of my lunch break moving my body”. And again, maybe I overshot with striving to do it every day? Maybe I should start with a MWF schedule. These are the things I am considering as I prepare for February.
