The other day, I asked for suggestions for some of the daily post ideas I was coming up with. I was stuck on ideas for Tuesday, Saturday, and Sundays.
One of the suggestions for Saturday was “Sublime Saturday”. I love the word sublime. One of the dictionary definitions for the word is: “of such excellence, grandeur, or beauty as to inspire great admiration or awe.”.
Wow, what a beautiful word.
So, what makes a “Sublime Saturday”? for you?
For me, it’s a Saturday I don’t have to get up early and be anywhere. I can lay in bed if I want, or I can get up early if I want to. The key phrase there is “if I want to”.
There are so many Saturdays that I have places to go or things to do. Those rare Saturdays when I don’t have to are just sublime.
Other things that I consider to be “sublime”, sunrises/sunsets, fall leaves, cool days where I don’t need to run the a/c or the heater, and a good book.
