I have found this great YouTube Channel called “Therapy in a Nutshell”. The lady that does them is a licensed counselor and she shares lots of great, practical information. I’ve watched several of her videos about overthinking (which I do a lot of, in case you weren’t aware lol).
The link to the channel is: https://www.youtube.com/@TherapyinaNutshell
Personally, I’ve only done actual therapy once in my life, and I did not find the experience that helpful. I always felt like the lady was judging me rather than listening/helping.
Since even before Tom got sick and died, I have sometimes felt that I would benefit from therapy. But after the first experience, I have been very hesitant to try it.
Check out this lady’s YouTube channel and let me know what you think. Her latest video is about grief, I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet.
